Examples of collaboration: Mural.ly

 

After we discovered that we didn't have enough room to finish our enactment completely within Marqueed Ionia students moved to Mural.ly.  It was easier for Ionia to make the switch and create new accounts than it was for Wilson.  Wilson's filters and restrictions made it more challenging to make the switch.  Here you can see examples of collaboration work done within Mural.ly, albeit mostly by Ionia students.

Here you can see how we used Mural.ly to post and respond to group questions.

Here you can see that Group Question 4 was posed by Kyona, IHS student.  She initiated the idea of expanding the student relationships between Ionia and Wilson student collaborators through social media--specifically, Instagram.  We waited for Mrs. Bewley's go-ahead after she checked with her principal about the safety and protection of her students.  We got the green light.  Many students shared their Instagram names in efforts to get to know each other beyond the classrooms.
